The Airshield is a battery powered respirator that provides excellent protection from the inhalation of harmful dust. Its the perfect complementary accessory for woodturners because it not only protects your lungs but also protects your face and helps protect your eyes from flying debris. Standard run time is four hours with a single battery, but the Airshield has two battery compartments. Adding the second battery increases the run time from four to eight hours or provides another battery to use while the first one is charging. Airflow minimum 4.94 CFM, maximum 6.36 CFM. Weight is only 26 oz. Eye protection to BS EN 166:1995; low energy impact and respiratory protection to BS EN 146 THP2. The Airshield comes complete with battery charger, THP/2 fine filter, pre-filter, airflow indicator, visor overlay and plastic carry bag.
